Celebration of the Grand Opening of the Chipolopolo home.

The Orphan Shade family is now occupying the Chipolopolo home (home #2). There were many obstacles in our path to reach this millstone. There was a major cyclone that dumped 6 months of rain in 6 days. Two of the new girls are sick and could not attend. The Schierloh's were not able to attend. However, everything came together under the leadership of Prince Kampomo and his team.

A crowd of about 400 people participated in the event. Village people from up to 20 kilometers (15 miles) walked to participate in the event.

Bill and Kerri Kidd and their family represented us at the event. Kerri blessed the crowd with her preaching at the ceremony. We are very thankful that the Kidd's made the journey and participated in the big event.

The big news is that two new church plants will be created. People from several villages far away heard about the home and the grand opening and participated in the grand opening. Many of them accepted Jesus as their savior during the service. Pastor July will visit these villages soon to teach the bible and hel them form new churches.
